Don't blame the managers this time

If you thought managers don't want to hear what is wrong with the company so they can fix it, here's one better than that.  The OWNERS don't want to hear it.  The Manager did try to do something about it, and the owners told him he was rocking the boat.  Well, that boat is obviously sinking anyway.  The joint deserves to go out of business, soon.  Evidently they are dying a slow death because they have cut their advertising budget to zero, and the business lives totally on reaching the public thru ads.  Maybe these people's personal addictions are a clue:  One seeks out impoverished foreign nations to visit so he feels better because someone else is worse off than he is; another is cheating on his wife--with a guy; and yet another is hooked on the casino while his wife gets seriously ill with the crud after getting a tattoo.  Lord, it's just like a bad soap opera.  Let me out!

Well, it sounds bad so why not just quit the place? Or alternatively look for a job on the sly while doing just enough to get by until something comes up? If they don't care they'll be gone soon enough.
